The quick search capabilities of Avigilon Appearance Search technology enable operators to scan vast amounts of recorded footage, efficiently grouping video data to help track a person's or vehicle's route, identify a previous and last-known location, and assist investigations.

Avigilon Appearance Search technology now incorporates the characteristics of a person's face, as well as shape, size, texture, color, clothing and accessories when searching for a person, enabling the technology to understand that it is searching for the same person, even if items such as their clothing change over time.


From cameras to software, everything you need all in one place

Avigilon Appearance Search technology works with Avigilon video analytics cameras to generate, record and classify video data for effective searches. Integration with Avigilon Control Center (ACC)™ video management software (VMS) provides advanced video search capabilities to enhance the user experience of the entire Avigilon solution.


ACC Version Last version of ACC tested with camera. This also implies support for later versions of ACC unless specifically listed otherwise.
Audio Input Receive audio feed from camera.
Audio Output Send audio to speaker attached to camera.
Autodiscovery Automatic discovery of camera IP address when connected within a LAN environment.
Compression Type Describes the encoding types supported for the camera.
Connection Type Describes the type of Device Driver used. Native refers to the Manufacturer's specific device driver.
Dewarping In-Client dewarping of fisheye or panoramic cameras.
Digital Input Receive Digital or Relay inputs from camera.
Digital output Trigger digital or relay outputs physically connected to a camera.
Motion Quick display of whether Motion Recording is available on for the camera.
Motion Configuration Configuration of motion detection within the ACC Client.
