How Avigilon’s Open Platform Promotes Easy Integration

As a full member of ONVIF®, Avigilon solutions are built on an open platform for easy integration with third-party software and hardware, giving you the flexibility to leverage your existing resources and investments. Whether you build new, custom integrations using our feature-rich software development kits (SDKs), or leverage existing integrations that are ready to use, Avigilon Control Center (ACC)™ video management software (VMS) and hardware provides an open platform to meet your needs.

Integration with Avigilon Cameras

Most Avigilon cameras are compliant with ONVIF Profile S and utilize ONVIF communication protocols as standard to communicate with the ACC system. This means our cameras' rich functionality is available to third-party VMS manufacturers through open ONVIF protocols, giving you superior image quality and the flexibility to build your own customized system.

Integration with ACC Video Management Software

Designed with flexibility in mind, our ACC video management software seamlessly recognizes any ONVIF compliant camera, offering an easy, plug-and-play solution.

From access control to intercom, distress, external alarms, or intruder detection, Avigilon's comprehensive software development kit (SDK) also seamlessly integrates your existing systems with ACC software, allowing developers to create powerful new solutions that dramatically improve building security.

Integration with Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM)™ System

Our ACM system combines video management, biometric authentication, wireless locking, alarm panel management and visitor management into a single all-in-one access management solution to support your business. With an advanced, easy-to-use programming interface that connects everything, the Avigilon ACM system offers a secure communications path to help keep your people, property and assets safe.
