Recent advancements in Avigilon Control Center (ACC) video management software have bolstered it with an array of new features that you won’t want to miss out on.

These new capabilities, available in ACC™ 6.14, are designed to help you proactively detect, verify and act on potentially critical events. Read on to learn the top three reasons why you should download ACC 6.14 software now.

Advanced AI Technology

Today, there are more security cameras and recorded video than ever before, and operators are faced with the challenge of keeping pace — but the reality is, people can often have short attention spans. However, AI technology can help overcome this challenge; it doesn’t get bored and can analyze more video data than humans ever possibly could. That’s why the new updates available in ACC 6.14 software matter.

Now, you can initiate a search for the same person or vehicle across multiple ACC sites using Avigilon Appearance Search™ technology, helping you find what you’re looking for faster in near real-time and build a stronger narrative of events during investigations.

You can also now utilize Avigilon Appearance Search technology on almost any third-party camera, by deploying the Avigilon Artificial Intelligence (AI) Appliance. This means you can evolve your legacy camera system into a powerful AI solution when connected to ACC software. You’ll receive automatic alerts of potentially critical events and gain the ability to search for and locate a person or vehicle of interest across an entire site.

Enhanced Data Privacy

The recent introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union means that those who collect, store and process personal data are subject to new requirements surrounding data protection and privacy. Recent updates to ACC software, including Avigilon Appearance Search blurred video export and License Plate Recognition (LPR) data privacy, are designed to enhance data privacy, helping users to better comply with applicable GDPR requirements.

Other features also offer greater data protection; two-factor authentication increases login security, and now, you can set permissions around who can initiate searches using personally-identifiable information. You can also manage who has access to view high-resolution streams of both live and recorded video.

Identity Search

The Identity Search feature, available in ACC 6.14, unifies ACC software with our Access Control Manager (ACM) system. Now, you can search for a person by their access cardholder information while utilizing Avigilon Appearance Search technology to see video of that person’s current or previous location across an entire site — helping you uncover the story of where a person of interest has been and how they got there.

Other recent updates include fast AVI exports, License Plate Recognition (LPR) accuracy improvements, optimization for scale and performance, analytic service health and Unusual Motion Detection (UMD) enhancements.

ACC 6.14 offers powerful AI, access control integration and LPR technology while maintaining ease of use. Download ACC 6.14 software today.
